We bid farewell to Allen Burnside (Salt Lake City, Utah), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 29, 2025 at the age of 87. Allen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mitchell and Sitha Anderson Burnside; and his siblings, Bernard, Ernest, Lois and Madge.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen; and his children, Mitchell (Kim), Corey (Johni), Nanette Hogan (Brian), Russell (Angel) and Camille Simister (Greg). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Taylorsville 9th Ward Chapel (2030 W 5225 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84118). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
