She was predeceased by: her parents, Simona Ernestine Trujillo and Richard Abraham Chavez; her siblings, Daniel Chavez, Anthony J. Chavez and Paula Chavez; and her godfather Freddy Baca.
She is survived by: her siblings, Richard Chavez, Brenda Chavez and Yolanda Chavez; her cousin Maryann; and her sons, Gilbert Madrid and Lee Madrid. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
