He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Smith and Jane Smith; his nephew Jack Smith; and his son-in-law John Straight. He is survived by: his wife Sue Lynne Smith; his granddaughter Lise (John); his children, Melinda, Suzanna, Elinore, Jennette, Maria Straight, Kristina, Sam, Dru, Zac, James, Tye Belnap, Ted, Cel, Davey, Annie, Matthew Smith, Billie, Richie Aldaba, Keith, Cami, Wrigley and Ryne Smith; and his brothers, Gehla Knight (Richard Porterfield) and Don Smith (Shari Kovac).
Viewing will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 7:00 AM and from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Davis Creek Ward (825 S 50 E, Farmington, UT 84025). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
