It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denis Pingree Smith (Salt Lake City, Utah), who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Fielding and Ruth Pingree Smith. He is survived by: his children, Shauna Zukle, Kevin Smith (Liz), Ida Anderson, Denis Smith (Denise) and Marshall Smith (Alison); his former wives, Nancy Lingler Smith and Ruth B. Smith; R. P. Joe Smith and Pauline S. J. Zaugg. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 4 (soon to be 5) great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
