He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pitts and Amelia Steward Pitts; and his wife Sandra Jensigne Schettler of Patrick's Day. He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Brooks (Terry), Elizabeth Pitts and Laura Ricks (Steve); and his sister Susan Lloyd (Glen). He is also survived by five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hilltop Ward Chapel (589 E 18th Ave, Salt Lake City, UT 84103).
