He was predeceased by: his parents, Orson Wilford Gundersen Sr. and Ingeborg Johanne Terjesen; and his children, Edward Gundersen (Diana), Olga Rosander (Lisa), Sam Gundersen (Carmi), Karl Gundersen (Janet), Karen Luke (David), Julie Weber (Rex), Erik Gundersen (Elizabeth), Elizabeth Gundersen and Christian Gundersen (Brooke).
He is survived by: his siblings, Edith, Orson, Tom, Dorothy, Joseph, Grant, David and Mary; his close friend Olga Elizabeth Hartman (Betty); and his sister-in-law Effie.
