He was predeceased by : his parents, John Henry Bryan and Ruth Neff Bryan; and his sister Naomi. He is survived by : his wife Catherine; his children, John Bryan (Anne), Sarah Gwilliam (Jeff) and Mary Catherine Perry (Jason); and his brother Robert (Teresa). He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Olympus 7th Ward (2675 E 4430 S, Holladay, UT 84124). A burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 3:15 PM at the Fairview Cemetery.

Through his example, he taught his children the importance of living with charity, integrity and humility.
