He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hafen "Jack" Knaphus and Joyce Lawana Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Jim (Ammie), Ned (Audrey), Russ (Paula), Heidi Glenn (Jayson), Geri Bohn (Chris) and Brady Knaphus; and his siblings, Carrie Reid (Bruce), Bruce Knaphus, Chris Knaphus (Leslie), Mark Knaphus (Julie) and Peggy Duke (Kevin). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:40 AM at the Evergreen Ward (2125 E Evergreen Ave, Salt Lake City, UT 84109). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Salt Lake City Cemetery (200 N St E, Salt Lake City, UT 84103).
