John Lloyd Stohl Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2025, at the age of 86, John Lloyd Stohl of Salt Lake City, Utah passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Stohl and Mary Stohl; his sister Eleanor Poelman (Squires); and his granddaughters, Katie and Ellie Stohl.
He is survived by: his significant other Lana Spivey; his children, Amy Greene (Shaun), John (Jana), David (Nicole), Sarah Blamires (Eric), Matt (Kim) and Mike (Megan); and his siblings-in-law, Linda Gaddie (David), Teresa Petty, Tammy Graham (Doug) and Russell Lambert (Vivian).
Viewing was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Mary's Monument Park Ward (1320 S Wasatch Dr., Salt Lake City, UT 84108). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to Read with Me program for Ms. Barnes first grade at Palm View Elementary class in John's memory.
