He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Crus and Elsie Rena Gini Crus; and his wife Bonnie Ellen Crus. He is survived by: his daughters, Joni Cox (Casey), Lori Elshazly (Moe) and Alicia Romney (Marty); his grandchildren, Cody Cox, Jocelyn Finan (Cole), Zachary Cox, Madison Metcalf, Madysen Harris (Curtis), Samantha Matthews (Zach), Brandon Northrup, Stephanie Clark, Savannah Carr (Jaxson), Victoria Romney, Brett Porthan, Martin and Sophia Elshazly; his great grandchildren, Layla, Emery, Jack, Scarlett, Nolan, Sage and Kate; his sisters-in-law, Susan Shreeve and Laurie Weeks (Rick); his sibling's children, Lisa Walker (Brady), Chris, Matt Terry, Nick and Alex Weeks; and his close friend Ed Jensen.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (3015 E Crk Rd, Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, dad requested donations be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah.
