He is survived by: his father Kenneth Basinger; his wife Leilani; and his children, Alissa (Mike), Aaron (Jane), Matt (Breann), Becky (Todd) and Brett (Erin).
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (390 Village Blvd, Stansbury Park, UT 84074). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park (17111 S Camp Williams Rd, Bluffdale, UT 84065).
