With solemn reverence, we commemorate Marilyn R. (Pruden) Carr (Salt Lake City, Utah), born in Bryan, Ohio, whose life came to an end on October 2, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ursula Pruden and Elmer Russell Pruden; her siblings, Kenneth (Helen), Arthur (Susie) and Nancy Pruden; and her in-laws, Grace, Robert Carr, Robert Weber and Robert Hamet.
She is survived by: her husband William E. Carr; her children, Scott Carr and Kimberly Fremont (Carr) of Lake Ozark; her grandsons, Andrew Fremont (Susan) of Vanceboro, Brent Fremont (Marissa) of LaSalle and Daniel Fremont of Park City, Utah.; her great grandchildren, Raelynn, Emmy, William and Remi; her sister Betty Weber of Cleveland, Ohio; and her sister-in-law Carol Hamet of Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Larkin Funeral Home (2350 E 1300 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84108). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to Huntsman Cancer Center, where Marilyn received such excellent care.
