With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marjorie Joan Vriens Wright (Salt Lake City, Utah), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, William C. Vriens and Johanna Mellegers Vriens; her grandchildren, Bradley Wright, William Wright, Paul Wright, Jacob Wright, KenndraAnn Follett and Thor Follett (Anchor Hillam); and her siblings, Robert Vriens, Leon Vriens, Doug Vriens and Sharon Alfrey.
She is survived by: her husband Richard; her siblings, William Vriens Jr. (Bill) and Kristina Montoya; and her children, Brad Wright (Janene), Camile Nielson (Eric), Andrea Johnson (David), Melisa Nelson (David) and Sarah Follett (Russell). She is also survived by 39 grandchildren; and 50 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the Gundersen Chapel (1925 Gundersen Ln S, Salt Lake City, UT 84124). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at the same location.
