She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Choate and James Flynn Choate; her brothers-in-law, Jim Jordan and Billy Reese; and her nephew James Jordan.
She is survived by: her son Christopher Fox; her granddaughter Christina; and her siblings, Michael Choate (Sarah), Terry Sumner Montgomery (Mike), Dorothy Reese and Nanette Jordan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
