He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolo Blackhurst and Sarah Elizabeth Blackhurst; his significant other Carol Haycock; his brother Reese; and his brother-in-law Don.

He is survived by: his siblings, Brenda Allen, Marcia Peterson and Clint Blackhurst (Rhonda); his sister-in-law Sandra Blackhurst; his daughters, Paige and Andrea; his grandchildren, Mersadee (Scott), Courtney (Suliasi) and Cody; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Averie, Emmy, Cora and Clover.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help cover funeral and burial costs.
