He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Turpin and Ruby Turpin; his great grandchild Cole Sylvester; his daughter Steph Turpin; and his sister Toni Staker.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Tillman; his daughters, Wendi (Mike) and Michelle (Marina); his stepson Andrew Mecham (Heather); and his pet Bean. He is also survived by three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a niece and two nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Starks Funeral Parlor (3651 S 900 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84106).
