He was predeceased by: his parents, Larry Lee Bowen and Jodie Goins Bowen; and his brothers, David Lee Bowen and Kyle Cameron Bowen. He is survived by: his wife Kristen Matheson Bowen; his children, Brennon Sterling Bowen (Alexis Bowen), Meghan Elizabeth Bowen, Samantha Lee McAffee (Dave McAffee), Jeremiah David Elias Bowen and Hannah Morgan Bowen; his grandchildren, Addison Morgan Bowen, Gregory Sterling Bowen, Danielle Rebecca Bowen, Suzy Lee McAffee, Chad Ryan McAffee and Cole David McAffee; and his sister Laura Elizabeth Weber (Mike Weber).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Viewing was held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1111 Charlton Ave, Salt Lake City, UT 84106).
