She was predeceased by: her husbands, Bob Smeltzer and Kay Freckleton; her granddaughter Anna; and her son-in-law Lari. She is survived by: her children, Beth Gates (Thayne), Barbara Ronsick (Tom), Julia Tadehara, Robert Smeltzer II, Debbie Duong (Phu) and Mary Smeltzer; and her caregiver Rebecca.
Viewing was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cannon 3rd Ward (1301 S 1200 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84104).
