He is survived by: his wife Patsy Orton Johnson; his children, Margit Caine (Bill), Erik Johnson (Rebecca), Julia Whitehead (Aaron), Camille Larsen (David) and Lars Johnson (Dyan); and his sister Marva Johnson Coombs.
