He is survived by: his wife Kyra; his mother Rexene Shepherd; his close friend Kyra Lee Shepherd; his children, Sierra Shepherd, Hunter Shepherd and Porter Shepherd (Kelsey Shepherd); his grandchildren, Rose and Bo; and his brothers, Ron Shepherd and Richard Shepherd Jr..
