He was predeceased by: his father Richard Shepherd; and his sister Christine Vanry. He is survived by: his wife Kyra; his mother Rexene Shepherd; his close friend Kyra Lee Shepherd; his children, Sierra Shepherd, Hunter Shepherd and Porter Shepherd (Kelsey Shepherd); his grandchildren, Rose and Bo; and his brothers, Ron Shepherd and Richard Shepherd Jr..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM and at 11:45 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (2245 E 3900 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84124). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery (2350 E 1300 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84108).
