We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2022, Ruth Torgersen of Salt Lake City, Utah passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arch Peter and Alice Lambert Robertson; her husband Gene Earl Torgersen; her brother Arch Richard; and her son James Christian.

She is survived by: her children, Teri Croft (George), Buffy Epperson (Brent), Eric Torgersen (Brenda), Robert Torgersen (Jami) and Suzy Dowdy (Jim); her sister Ednalene "Bunny" Foreman (Richard); and her sister-in-law Lenore Robertson. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the LDS Church Humanitarian Fund or Best Friends Animal Sanctuary.
