She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Taggert Whitney and Frances Nellie Vertin; her siblings, Diane Miller, Bonnie Whitney and Frank Whitney; her aunts, Mary Maudlin and Louise DeVore; and her nephew Jason Miller.
She is survived by: her friend Murry Moffat; her children, Daren Critelli (Laura), Cobie Bozich (Eric) and Chelsea Godfrey (Gregg); her grandchildren, Kalie Graham (Kevin), Derrick Bozich, Brooke Austin (Jacob), Hannah Peterson, Ellie Peterson and Jade Critelli; her great grandchildren, Parker Graham and Jack Graham; her extended family Christine Miller; and her sibling's children, Christine Miller and David Whitney.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Starks Funeral Parlor (3651 S 900 E, Millcreek, UT 84106).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospital or the Humane Society—two causes close to Sylvia's heart.
