He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Thomas Edgar and Charlotte Parry Clark; his former wife Joan Laughlin Clark; and his sisters, Claudia Clark, Kathryn Mumford, Janice Jensen, Gwen Nielsen and Carol Dunford.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Christian; his children, Cathleen Gilbert (Anthony), Colleen Peterson (Gordon), Carolyn Facer (Michael), Thomas Edward Clark (Kendra) and Cynthia Horne (Patrick); his sister Charlotte Cundick; and his sisters-in-law, Janet Sloan and Carole Nieman (Joseph). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
