She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezekiel Leyba and AltaGracia Martinez; her son Larry; her husband Laurence "Larry" Montoya; her granddaughter Shelley; and her great grandchild Hunter.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy, Vicki, Sheri (Trey), Stephen (Crystal) and Sonya (Tim); and her sisters, Sadie and Dorothy (Louie). She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
