William leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. William’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew William will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Melvin William Kidder and Lola Grace Starkey Kidder; spouse: Cheryl Bateman and Claudia Jensen Allen; daughters: Michelle Johns (Blair) and Kathy Meyers (Jake); stepchildren: Sarah Erwin (Ben) and Ryan Allen (Amy); granddaughters: Maren, Megan, Morgen, Brooke, Skye, Sunny, Kimber, and Kendra; grandchildren: Elisabeth, Ben, Sam, Gabe, and Hannah; and many friends, associates, students, faculty, and patients.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary (3401 S Highland Dr, Millcreek, UT 84106). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Though flowers are appreciated, a contribution to your favorite conservation or educational organization would honor him equally.
