She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Luella Checketts Carlson and Francis Oscar; and her children, Debra Marleen Stookey, Denise Lenore Waters and Rulon LaMar Waters.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Marie Sorensen (Rob) and Gregory Lee Waters; and her brother Gene Carlson (Janis). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
