With sadness, we share the passing of Catherine Woods Forbes of Sandy, Utah. Catherine, born on December 5, 1948 in Salem, Oregon, passed away on September 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her niece Kimberly; her parents, Jean McCullough and Lynn Woods; her siblings, Elizabeth Moore and Randy Woods; and her daughter Kimberly Naranjo.

She is survived by: her children, Mollie Shutt (Jeff), James Forbes (Stephanie), Edward Conrad (Laura), Maria Forbes, Adrianna Christensen (Travis), Monaliza Forbes, Faviola Forbes and Karina Campuzano (Ruben); and her grandchildren, Angelica Hernandez, Sophia Forbes, Jayda Shutt, Eve Conrad, Jayce Naranjo, Addy Forbes, Carson Shutt, Jeffrey Grunigen, Austin Forbes, Joel Conrad, Harrison Christensen, Weston Forbes, Hudson Christensen, Ruben Campuzano, Mila Campuzano and Scottie Christensen.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (9855 S 2300 E, Sandy, UT 84092). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery (1950 Dimple Dell Ln, Sandy, UT 84092).
