He was predeceased by: his wife Yolanda Zavala. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia and James (Cortney); his grandchildren, Tatiana, Elena, Eva, Sofia, Beckett, Olivia, Liliana and Lucia; and his great grandchildren, Alyssandra and Ioannis.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Hilltop United Methodist Church (985 E 10600 S, Sandy, UT 84094). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park (17111 1700 W, Bluffdale, UT 84065). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, May 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park Utah Veterans Cemetery (17111 S Camp Williams Rd, Bluffdale, UT 84065).
