He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence V. Maw and Katherine Maw; his wife Barbara Joan Garner; and his sister Virginia. He is survived by: his children, DeLynn (Hafdis), Randy, Julianne and Lisa Young (Kyle). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Whether he was donating money to nonprofit organizations, or helping family and friends through difficult times, he never gave for the recognition, he gave purely from his heart.
