She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Lorenzo Eckersley; her sister Shirley; and her grandchildren, Matthew Charles Erekson and Ellen Amelia Boud. She is survived by: her sisters, Marlene Bailey and Joan Floto; her children, Stan Eckersley (Barbara), Raani Erekson (Mark), Kathy Wallin, Marilyn Eckersley, Judy Martin, Jean Eckersley and John Eckersley (Lisa); Wally Nielsen. She is also survived by 35 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great- grandchildren.
