We bid farewell to Edgar Opel of Sandy, Utah, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 2, 2026 at the age of 90. Edgar touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Corrine (Hillis); his parents, Roy Opel and Amelia Opel (Walter); his stepmother Clara Opel (Richert); and his siblings, Walter, Clemens, Lester, Roland and Amelia (Kenyon).
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth of Midvale, Utah, Paul (Janine) of Baldwinsville, Kurt (Anna) of Macomb, Michigan and Susan of Midvale; his grandsons, David and Jonathan of Macomb; and his brother Warren (Lois) of Clarkston, Michigan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
