He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Willy and Lilly Venema Andersen; his wife Janet Smith; his brother Raymond Andersen; his sons-in-law, Melvyn Frost and Dustin Hardman; and his grandsons, Stephen Hardman and Jacob Frost.
He is survived by: his siblings, John (Peggy), Michael, David (Sue) and Kathryn (Steve); his sister-in-law Nancy; and his children, Marlene Frost, Karen Nay (Brian), Laura Hardman, Christine Griffin, Rebecca McKinnon (Corey), Sarah Pogue (Michael) and Thien Nguyen. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
