He was predeceased by : his wife Arleen; his parents, William Robertson Beckstrom and Della Mckell Beckstrom; and his brother Kent M. Beckstrom. He is survived by : his children, Laurie Funston, Brock Beckstrom (Kristie), Christy Harris (Russ), Jane Emery (Chris) and LaNae Jensen; and his brother Glenn Beckstrom. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren.

I remember when he and your Mom came to visit in Scottsdale, and we went down to the art district so your Dad could look for a fellow artist of his. We did find her work. It was exciting. “Dear Beckstrom Family, How much we miss Gordon and Arleen and how lucky you are to have had them as parents. Every Christmas morning since Arleen passed away, we miss her wonderful almond cake.
