It is with sadness that the passing of Ione Prawitt (Sandy, Utah) is shared. Ione, born on July 16, 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah, passed away on September 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Parsel and Angelina Parsel; her siblings, Flora Jensen (Tiny) and Joe Parsel; and her son Jeff.
She is survived by: her sons, Stan (Karen) and Greg (Tonya); her sister Anna Olsen; her grandchildren, Tessa, Spencer, Connor, Anita, Jessica, Millie, Tabitha, Breanna and Rachel; and her great grandchildren, Allee, Aree, Paislee, Ella, Charlotte, Kambreea, Memphis, Lexi, Roper, Remi, Tymber, Ridger, Avery and Ayden. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Memorial Lake Hills Mortuary and Cemetery (10055 S State St, Sandy, UT 84070). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
