He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Smith and Wanda Smith; his siblings, Barry Smith, Cherri Fuller and Marvene Smith; and his grandson Tevin Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Christine (Chrisee); his children, Teri, Janise, Matt (Andrea), Jason (April), Jeremy (Jessie), Skyler (Jessie) and Spenser; and his sister Sandy. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
