It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry D Durrant (Sandy, Utah), born in Ogden, Utah, who passed away on February 13, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Durrant and Margaret Celeste Durrant. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his son James; his daughter-in-law Lyse'; and his granddaughters, Madie, Taylor and Abbie.

“I was a childhood friend of Jerry’s. . I lived across the street from his family home. After Jerry would finish his chores early morning he would sit on his porch and draw. I would jump up out of bed in the mornings to see if he was on his porch drawing. I would get dressed as fast as I could to go draw with him. He’s one of the reason I grew to love art that has lasted my life time. We moved to California when I was 10 so I never saw him again. Kathleen (209)605-8278”
