He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymundo and Siria; his wife Mae Frances Sanchez; his son Mark; his siblings, Jake and Dorthy; his great grandchildren, Jesse Marquez and Adonias Lopez; and his sons-in-law, Calvin Sweat and Michael Pellum.
He is survived by: his children, Raymond (Carla), Yvonne (Scott), Tim (Jaime), Bonnie (Gary), Michael (Tina) and Lori (Valdez); his daughter-in-law Rita; and his sister Linda. He is also survived by 23 Grandchildren; 33 Great Grandchildren; 11 Great-Great Grandchildren.
A vigil service was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (1375 East Spring Lane 84117). Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
He was always willing to donate time, talent and treasure to several causes, one of which was the Carmelite Monastery in Holladay.
