Joyce Ann Waters DeForest Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Ann Waters DeForest (Sandy, Utah), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marian "Grace" Barkdoll and Robert Benton Waters; her brother Neil Waters; her sister-in-law Carolyn Waters; her parents-in-law, Franklin DeForest and Ruth DeForest; her siblings-in-law, Julia DeForest and Al Mossler; her granddaughter Camille Maughan; and her son-in-law Nathan Miller.
She is survived by: her husband Duke DeForest; and her sister Delores Mossler. She is also survived by 80 children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Wanderwood Ward (2195 Pepperwood Dr, Sandy, UT 84092). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Innichement Memorial (1950 Dimple Dell Ln, Sandy, UT 84092).
