As Karen departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Karen may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Karen leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marion Sjostrand and Roy Sjostrand; and her children, Cheryl Hays, Steven, Michael and Nathan. She was also cherished by her eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and at 1:00 PM at the Le Jardin (1910 Dimple Dell Rd, Sandy, UT 84092).
