Lynda Clements Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynda Clements (Sandy, Utah), who passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lynda Clements to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellsworth W. Mielke and Helen O. Christensen (Hansen); her close friend Merland Joseph "Joe" Clements; her stepfather Thomas L. Baker; her siblings, Paul L. Mielke and Marsha E. Dorsey (Baker); her granddaughter Morgan C. Clements; and her daughter Christine Turner.

She is survived by: her husband Joe; her children, Lynda Cherniske (Timothy), Doug Clements (April), Dennis Clements (Cherish) and Kurt Clements; her siblings, Dwight Mielke (Catherine), Dennis King (Carole), Susan Goodwin (Sam) and Karma Yourdan (Pat); her brother-in-law Terry Dorsey; and her grandchildren, Patrick Clements (Sierra), Taylor Clements, Tanner Clements (Briana), Alexis Giroux (Ciaran), Madison Morrill (Jayden), Gabe Cherniske, Michaela Coad (Alex), Dylan Clements (Anika), Adam Cherniske, Michael Cherniske, Onna Varnum (Dickon), Jacob Cherniske, Sam Cherniske, Aaron Cherniske (Amanda) and Ben Cherniske (Lacie). She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, and numerous honorary children and grandchildren.

She emulated Christ-like love in everything she did; serving many years as a missionary at the church farm, then later at the Murray cannery to taking meals to her neighbors during COVID and beyond.
