It is with sadness that the passing of Lynda Fairbourn Hardcastle (Sandy, Utah) is shared. Lynda, born on March 20, 1939, passed away on October 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Lynda will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Lynda by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Lynda is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Lynda’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Fairbourn and Alma Fairbourn. She is survived by: her husband Noal; her children, Paula Landeen (Mike), RaeLyn Olson (Dee), Karen Minson (Mark) and Guy Hardcastle (Amy); and her brother Allen Fairbourn. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Crescent View First Ward Building (89 E 11000 S, Sandy, UT 84070). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
