He was predeceased by : his parents, Ezra Louie Kunz and Vilda Dustin Kunz; his former life partner Thelma Joy Sorensen; his daughter Claudia; and his son-in-law Jack.

He is survived by : his wife Nadine Mash; his son Ronald Edward Kunz (Raelynne); his son-in-law Denny Kenyon; and his daughters, Paula Calton and Kelly Runyon (Rick). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
