It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin John Thomson (Sandy, Utah), born in South Jordan, Utah, who passed away on October 14, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse West Thomson and Effie Emelia Erickson; and his son Scott. He is survived by: his children, Denise, Michael Thomson (Angee) and Julie Nethercott (Bill). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, two great grandchildren, four step-great grandchildren.
