She was predeceased by: her parents, George Maroudas and Margarita Yianis Maroudas; her husband John Karpakis; her son Christopher Karpakis; her parents-in-law, Chris Karpakis and Katherine Karpakis; her brothers, George Maroudas and Jim Maroudas; her siblings-in-law, Athena, Mary, Voula Maroudas, Georgia Karpakis, Nick Karpakis and Pete Karpakis; her siblings' children, Chris Karpakis, Kathy Karpakis, Christine Mills and Margo Maroudas; and her godson Jim Saltas.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Scarlet; her son George (Scarlet); her sibling's children, Rita Demas (Spiro), George Maroudas, Rita Litsas (John), Jim Maroudas (Diane), Dino Maroudas (Eleni), Chuck Karpakis (Goldie), James Karpakis (Candace), Cory Karpakis, Kelli Karpakis and Cory Mills; her sister-in-law Lorlee Karpakis; her godchildren, Chris Sakellariou, Patty Pecora and MaryLynn Beck; and her caregivers, Dr. Roy Gandolfi, Shauna Bennee, Amber Reynolds, Natalie Kuhn and Anna Paryzek.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral (279 S 300 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84101). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anna Greek Orthodox Church (9201 S 1300 E, Sandy, UT 84094).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to St Anna Greek Orthodox Church or the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Benevolence Fund.
