Patricia leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Patricia’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Patricia will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Burton Birkinshaw and Virginia Elizabeth Showell Birkinshaw; her sister Valarie James; and her granddaughter Amanda Leigh Wood. She is survived by: her children, Chris Wood (Julie), Spencer Wood (Katie Peck) and Stacey Wood (David Farmer). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Salt Lake City Cemetery (200 N St E, Salt Lake City, UT 84103). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
