He was predeceased by: his parents, John Paulson and Elsie Mary Treichel Paulson. He is survived by: his daughter Debra Kay; his siblings, William Albert, Grace Lucille, Robert Carlton, Lyle Warren, Frances Marion, Blanche Mae, Elizabeth Mary, John Charles, Arthur LeRoy, Dorothy Jean, Kenneth Wayne and Marge; his wife Carol May Richins; his granddaughter Debra Kay; his children, Paul, Carol, Lynne Anderson (Gerald), Mike Wells (Marie), Scott Wells, Debbie Atkinson and Chris Wells (Teresa); and his siblings, Marjorie Louise, Doris Elsie and James Loren. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Innichement Memorial (1950 Dimple Dell Ln, Sandy, UT 84092). A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery (1950 E 10600 S, Sandy, UT 84092).
