She was predeceased by: her daughter Tonya Maxwell Smith; and her parents, Rex Bauer and Margaret Bauer. She is survived by: her close friend Delwyn Cox Maxwell; her children, David C. Maxwell (Stephan L. Hannah), Shauna Maxwell Madsen (Eric J. Madsen) and Rita Ruffell; her grandchildren, Amanda Madsen Jenen (Eric Eden), Katie Madsen Tinoco (Edwin Jaren Tinoco), Maxwell Thomas Madsen (Macrina Romero Maden), Ethan Jacob Madsen, Jeremy Freestone (Amiee Sorensen), Colby Ruffell (Shay Hullinger) and Alyssa Ruffell; and her great grandchildren, Colin Jenen, Liam Jenen, Matias Madsen, Micah Madsen, Mia Madsen, Brooks Tinoco, Tobias Tinoco, Braxton Ruffell, Tinlee Ruffell, Kaden Howard, Karsen Howard, Allie Eden, Levi Eden, Issac Eden and Logan Eden.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Granite Cemetery (2969 E 9800 S, Sandy, UT 84092). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (9575 S 3100 E, Sandy, UT 84092). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Glendale City Cemetery East Center.
