He is survived by: his wife Vicki Johnson Ashton; his children, Brian Ashton (Emily), Karin Brown (Glen), Steven Ashton (Kristina) and Jeffrey Ashton (Ruth); his siblings, David Ashton, Kathy Harper (Brent) and Jon Ashton (Pat); and his siblings-in-law, Joan Ashton and Kent Norton. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and two and a half great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery (1950 Dimple Dell Ln, Sandy, UT 84092).
