He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Thomas and Vera Thomas; his wife Sherrie Lee Bean; and his sisters, Julia Hawker and Brenda Funk.
He is survived by: his children, Bret (Heidi), Jeff (Rosemary), Heidi Miller (Creed) and Heather Robertson (Matt); and his brothers, Rick Thomas (Charlene) and Brent Thomas (Carla). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
