He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Godine Pedersen and Axel Mathiesen. He is survived by: his wife Karen Curtis; his children, Troye Dean, Stacey Dean, Krystal Mathiesen Kelly, Kirk Mathiesen, Amber Mathiesen Phillips and Heather Mathiesen; and his siblings, Lone Stephens, Judy Warner, Paul Mathiesen and Ron Mathiesen.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 E Dimple Dell Road, Sandy, UT 84092).
